My four favourite versatile boots for winter to look elegant and classy

For  this winter these four boots will make you look elegant and classy and also keep you warm enough in the cold winter

Boots are indispensable in our winter wardrobe essentials; therefore, when I think of writing this article, the only thing I keep in mind; when I choose to wear (buy) a pair of boots, they must be versatile, elegant, and timeless look, certainly fit correctly.

Therefore, in this article, I would like to share with you the four types of boots which is timeless, elegant and versatile, besides they certainly make you warm enough in the cold winter.

The balmoral boots are also called dress boots which are the predecessor of an oxford shoe, and it's classic and elegant; the closed lacing system and the distinctive parallel seam line beginning from the vamp and throughout the heel counter and sometimes with the perforations (brogues) as a decorative element and these are the significant characteristics of this boots.

However, that parallel seamline is dividing the upper as two-part; the top (which is cover your ankle portion) is usually made of soft leather (suede) or fabrics (tweed) which would create a sort of two-tone effect also you could buy them with a leather or rubber sole as well.

Although, you could wear them with your business suits and odd trousers (tweed, flannel, tartan), also with dark wash denim jeans.

The chukka boots are also called desert boots because it was designed for the British army battalions during the western desert campaign of the second world war, thereafter it gets popular in the world of men's style in the late 1940s.

However, it is also made of grain and suede leather with an open lacing system, and the outsole could be a rubber or leather it's totally your personal preference; therefore, I personally prefer the chukka boots made of brown suede leather with rubber sole (easy to walk on the wet surface) and I could easily be paired with most of my business casual and casual outfits.

The Jodhpur boots, yes indeed, it was originated in the 1920s in India; actually, it was used worn as riding boots, especially for polo players; and soon become popular in men's winter wardrobe essential boots; however, could be made o grain and suede leather as well.

The significant characteristic of this boot is the vamp sewn on the top of the quarters and a thin leather strap which would tightly cover your ankle and fasten with the buckle.

Although you could wear them with your denim jeans and odd trousers (corduroy, tweed) and also with your casual suits as well, it would create a sort of sporty look.

The Chelsea boots are such a versatile option for you and you could wear them with some of your formal and semi-formal outfits, business casual, and casual outfits as well.

Although, if you feel lazy to tie up your bootlaces then the Chelsea boot is the best option for you because it features stretchy elastic side panels with a fabric loop/ tab at the heel counter; which allows you to put on them easily and be ready to go, besides it also could be made of suede and grain leather as well.
