The Belgian Loafer; Significantly Stylish, Versatile, and elegant

Henri Willis Bendel (1868-1936) was an American businessman, and fashion designer, who founded an upscale women's fashion company bearing his name in New York City.

In the 1950s his nephew who also have the name, Henry Bendel (1908-1997) founded the Belgian loafers which are made of calfskin leather and soft sole construction, a little bow on the vamp apron, and literally, he intended to design these Belgian loafers for the purpose of lenient use at most.

The reason behind the name of Belgian loafers; is the production was established in Belgium (Izegem) and it's entirely handcrafted by the Belgium cobblers, nevertheless, one of the iconic detail (as the bow on the vamp apron) of Belgian loafers is the calfskin leather piping is constructed first on a sewing machine and then handstitched onto the shoes.

The Belgian loafers are obtainable in a wide variety of colours and patterns in leather, also they would be made from some kind of fabrics such as wool, velvet, and linen (especially for the summer).

In terms of styling, the Belgian loafers are more versatile it's because whether you want to dress up or dress down they would keep your look elegant and stylish.

Gentleman, time to dress up, and let's celebrate Christmas also embrace the new year 2022

Cheers Gentleman
