Yet you could be stylish with these hats and caps; timeless and elegant

I perceive wearing a hat as a sort of self-expression; also it gives us a nice compliment to our look rather than just for showy or covering the head, besides I immensely admire the men in the classic period who would do the courtesy (gesture) with their hat/ cap. I would say it's an absolutely pleasing manner, therefore, as a reminiscence I thought to share with you some of my favourite hats and caps.

However, perhaps you would like to look a bit more conservative while you dress for formal events like a black-tie, white-tie, or royal ascot, preferably wearing a top hat which is made of black silk, beaver felt, and is characterised by its higher crown (the part covers the top of your head), and narrow brim ( the part extends outwards and protruding from the base of the crown) with slightly turned up on both sides which is distinguished and daintiness of the hat.

Although the fedora and trilby are the best options to wear with your business or casual suit, a blazer with odd trousers, and a sport coat with denim jeans, and chinos, however, it's predominantly made of bunny rabbit felt, beaver felt, wool and tweed as well.

Yet both hats are significantly distinguished which is the size of the crown and the size of the brim; the fedora hat has a relatively wider brim and higher crown, despite the trilby hat has a narrow brim angled down at the front and slightly turned up at the back which is significant,

otherwise, the decorative elements are quite similar which are the teardrop creasing or centre dent on the top of the crown, and the front pinch which means the indentation on both sides of the crown (forefront) and eventually the silk or grosgrain band tied around the crown.

However, those hats are significantly made of thicker materials hence we could wear them in cold and warm weather, but we have another option to wear a hat in hot weather which is called the Panama hat is primarily made of toquilla straw (it is an Ecuadorian coastal palm-like plant) after the harvest the weavers have begun to process the straw like boiling and bleaching then it becomes more flexible, thereafter they start the weaving process, also the weaving solidity would determine the quality of the hat.

Therefore, the Panama hat is quite breathable and most often comes in a pale-coloured, relatively wider brim as well as it also has all the decorative elements like a teardrop, front pinch and the fabric band tied around the crown.

It's appropriate to wear with your cotton, linen, seersucker suits and hopsack blazer or an odd jacket with linen Gurkha trousers or perhaps a linen sport coat with dark wash denim jeans, and a safari jacket with cotton or linen odd trousers or chinos, moreover, a cotton or linen shorts with a linen camp collar shirt or instead of you could wear a polo shirt and finished with a pair of espadrilles is absolutely a lovely holiday vibe.

On the other hand, the French beret and Newsboy caps are quite a unique touch to your look and both you could wear with your suit or a blazer with odd trousers, a Teba jacket with dark wash denim jeans,

and in terms of shape generally, both are round and made of wool and tweed but the design of the newsboy cap comes with eight pieces of fabric panelled together with a self-covered button (cloth covered) on the top, also often with a snap button on the front which helps to attach the front to the brim (visor).

Perhaps you might be wondering about the French beret is quite feminine also it's most often worn by women but it's actually unisex and you could be in your safe zone as long you were aware of choosing the right colour for your French beret.
